Drum idol

I chose to use Dave Grohl because he inspires me as a drummer. I want to become a better drummer because of him, and more creative with fills, too. I also love to draw him and he has inspired the creation of one of my OCs, Rosem. In all, he gives me so much creative inspiration, as is symbolized by the rainbow burst.

Update: Today I have realized that more than just inspiring me, Dave Grohl has helped me a lot. Sure, a bit with Nirvana, since he was the drummer, but that was more Kurt since it was Kurt's lyrics that Kurt sang. And I knew about Kurt. Still, with the Foo Fighters, Dave has also helped me a lot. I've been going through a really hard situation this year, and at the most painful part of it, the beginning, I truly discovered the Foo Fighters. When I did, it started with one song that really hooked me: "Times Like These". It felt like he was telling me that things would get better and that I was a strong person. With another song, "Best of You", I got more of the feeling that he was comforting me and giving me the advice to talk about it. It felt more as though he was talking directly to me and trying to help me because he understood. I cried when I first heard that song. This is the power of music, and his music helped me. It gave me a friend that I could always call on when I needed it, and it truly helped.
